Requirements:

• Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Experience: 1- 2 years as a Data Integration Specialist, Data Engineer, or in a similar role involving data integration and ETL processes.
• Technical Skills:
• Proficiency in data integration tools such as Informatica, Talend, SSIS, or similar platforms.
• Strong SQL skills with experience in data modeling and querying.
• Familiarity with APIs, web services, and data formats (XML, JSON).
• Understanding of data warehousing concepts and architecture.
• Analytical Mindset: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex data integration challenges and propose effective solutions.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written English communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Team Player: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.
• Other: Ability to work 2pm-11pm local Sri Lanka time.

Tasks and Responsibilities:

• System Integration: Implement and maintain data integration processes between multiple systems, databases, and applications to facilitate data flow and accessibility.
• Data Mapping and Transformation: Design and implement data mappings and transformations to ensure compatibility and consistency of data across systems.
• Data Quality Assurance: Monitor and maintain data quality, integrity, and reliability throughout the integration process. Implement validation and cleansing processes as needed.
• Performance Optimization: Identify opportunities to optimize data integration processes for improved efficiency, reliability, and performance.
• Documentation: Create comprehensive documentation including data integration specifications, process flows, and technical guidelines.
• Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams including data engineers, analysts, developers, and business stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver integrated data solutions.
• Troubleshooting and Support: Investigate and resolve data integration issues, providing timely support and troubleshooting to ensure uninterrupted data flows.
