Requirements:

• BSc in Engineering (Computer Science major with a focus on mathematics is an added advantage) or a degree in Statistics with a specialization in Data Science.
• 5-10 years of industry experience.
• A business/marketing degree or equivalent diploma in business/marketing is an additional advantage.
• Certification in Big Data technologies and Data Science.
• Excellent leadership skills.
• Strategic and innovative mindset.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

• Ability to understand business challenges through active listening.
• Engage with business executives, technical specialists, and external technology partners to collaborate and execute solutions.
• Inspire and lead the team to reach their full potential while focusing on the organization's objectives.

Tasks and Responsibilities:

• Manage the complete value stream of transforming data into intelligence. Collaborate with cross-functional teams and take on leadership roles in various processes and activities.
• Oversee the expansion of the global Data Lake platform, integrating Big Data capabilities to utilize Machine Learning for richer insights.
• Focus on Master Data Management to ensure key business entities in the global business are maintained as golden copies and enforce a governance framework to sustain the cleanliness of the Master Data at all times.
• Utilize the Data Lake repository and insights platform for Digital Customer Extensions to offer B2B customers enhanced visibility and transparency of their orders, contributing to future-proofing the business and fostering customer intimacy.
• Enhance customer extensions through innovative thinking and adjacent solutions.
• Compile use cases for analytics with clear business objectives and expectations.
• Document use cases and create business cases for these use cases.
• Articulate business benefits, including revenue generation, cost reduction, efficiency gains, and new business opportunities.
• Maintain a strategic and positive relationship with our Data Lake vendor and partners.
• Carefully set up annual budgets for Data Lake initiatives and monitor expenditures (both CapEx and OpEx).
• Act as the custodian of customer-facing portals built on top of the Data Lake. Collaborate with the portal partner to manage and enhance features to enable business benefits.
• Use Machine Learning and AI for predictive analytics, enabling early intervention and unlocking business value from data.
• Coach and facilitate training in business analytics across the plants.
