This position requires an individual with a passion for technology and the ability to learn new technologies while supporting a global team in a cloud-based remote virtual IT infrastructure environment.

You will be responsible for level 1 service desk support for end users for both hardware and software, working in a Microsoft 365 cloud environment, remote systems administration, and providing remote desktop support to the CPM Group internal users across the APAC region, as directed by the Group IT Manager.

Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Providing L1 remote IT support to end users for hardware and software issues, troubleshooting and escalating issues to L2 systems support engineers and/or suppliers for on-site support.
    
  • Analyze and resolve the support tickets or the alerts from automated monitoring systems within the timeframes of organizational level agreements (OLAs)/service level agreements (SLAs).
    
  • Escalate support tickets or alerts that you are not able to resolve to the Internal L2 systems support engineer, group IT manager, vendors and support-providing partners in a timely manner.
    
  • Supporting L2 IT operational tasks Liaise with Internal L2 System support engineers to coordinate with the vendors and suppliers, and administrate Internal IT Application Systems, Servers, LAN and Cloud infrastructure.
    
  • Work with Internal L2 systems support engineers to administrate end user and endpoint devices user & groups management, provision, enrolment, installation and application of device & app security profiles, device data backup and resolve incidents.
    
  • Work with Internal L2 system support engineers to implement continual improvement solutions and troubleshoot endpoint devices with cloud systems.

Experience

  • Troubleshooting experience of hardware, software and operating systems of Windows notebooks is a must.
    
  • For the junior role, at least 6 months of internship experience as a member of a support team responsible for administering Microsoft 365, Office 365 Apps, IT hardware, software systems, and operating systems, either on-site or providing remote end-user support.


Qualifications



  • Higher National Diploma (HND) or graduate degree from a recognized university in Information Communications Technology or Computer Networks.
    
  • A hardware and software systems administration professional course from a
    recognized tertiary institute.

A fundamental certification from Microsoft 365 and/or Azure Cloud (MS-900, AZ-900) will be an added advantage for the junior role.
