Technical Officer / Officer - Access Network Planning Opportunity in Telecommunication

Job responsibilities.

• Plan and Optimize 2G, 3G, 4G, and 5G Radio Network in Gampaha and Kegalle Districts.
• Monitor and troubleshoot 2G, 3G, 4G, and 5G Network Quality of Service (QoS) issues.
• Conduct Network Quality Assurance activities, including cluster optimization and worst sector analysis.
• Assist in Joint Field Surveys to confirm new site locations within the region .
• Contribute to Capacity Planning for special events and dynamic business needs.
• Analyze and resolve 2nd Level customer complaints related to QoS and other RAN side issues.
• Collaborate with vendors and contractors to plan, install new sites and sector upgrades.
• Assist in feature trials and network upgrades.
• Perform Drive Tests within the region to collect data, analyze network performance, and implement optimization strategies.
• Collaborate with Regional Sales Teams to align network solutions with business objectives.

Entry Requirements

• The candidate should have an NVQ or IVQ Level 5 qualification specializing in Telecommunication, Electrical, or Electronics.
• Alternatively, the candidate could have an NDES, HNDE, or NDT qualification specializing in Telecommunication, Electrical, Electronics; or a Diploma in Technology from the Open University of Sri Lanka (OUSL); or an Advanced Diploma in Telecommunication Technology.
