Senior Quality Engineer - Playwright Automation Opportunity in IT Industry

Responsibilities:

• Writing automated test scripts using industry-standard tools such as Playwright with TypeScript and Selenium with Python.
• Version controlling with Git / GitHub repository.
• Integrating automated test scripts on GitHub with CI/CD pipelines.
• Conducting compatibility testing to evaluate system performance under varying conditions using different devices and browsers.
• Managing Test Management and Defect Management processes.
• Creating comprehensive test documentation, including test plans.
• Estimating, prioritizing, planning, and coordinating QA activities.
• Ensuring timely delivery of test automation scripting in line with project deadlines.
• Setting goals and objectives for QA Engineers and mentoring junior QA members.
• Establishing quality standards for teams using modern testing technologies.
• Conducting code reviews on test scripts and providing feedback for improvement.

Requirements:

• 4+ years of experience in Test Automation.
• Proficiency with automation testing tools and frameworks, including Playwright with TypeScript and Selenium with Python.
• Excellent understanding of HTML, CSS, and XPath locators.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., GIT, GitHub Actions) and test management tools (e.g., Jira, TestRail).
• Strong grasp of design principles and clean test code practices.
• Experience with version control systems like GitHub.
• Ability to analyze bugs to improve test coverage in critical areas.
• Proficiency in Agile and Scrum methodologies.
• Extensive knowledge of Cloud applications.
• Application testing/security testing experience is a plus.
• Knowledge of Mobile testing is a plus.
• Previous experience working with offshore clients.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
