Duties & Responsibilities

Writing API Automated test scripts using industry-standard tools.

Integrate automated test scripts with the CI/CD pipelines.

Involved in performance testing to evaluate system performance under varying conditions.

Test Management and Defect Management.

Maintain quality standards and metrics.

Working with all stakeholders to ensure that the quality metrics are reviewed, closed, and

agreed upon.

Create comprehensive test documentation.

Come up with estimates, prioritise, plan, and coordinate QE activities.

Defining processes for the test plan and several phases of the testing cycle.

Work closely on the project deadlines to ensure the team is focusing on Automation and Manual

testing.

Review test strategies and see that all the various kinds of testing, such as unit, functional,

performance, stress, acceptance, and security, are covered.

Developing an end-to-end Automation strategy in line with the strategic vision and product

roadmap.

Qualification & Experience

3-5 years of experience in Test Automation.

Experience with Performance testing tools and frameworks such as JMeter or K6.

Experience in API Automation with Postman or RestAssured.

Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps or Github actions) and test management tools (Jira,

TestRail).

A good understanding of design principles and writing clean test code.

Experience in version control systems like git.

Proficiency in Agile and Scrum methodologies.

Extensive knowledge of Cloud applications is an added advantage.

Knowledge of application testing/security testing is a plus.

Previous working experience with offshore clients.

Excellent oral and written communication skills
