We Are Hiring: Senior Manager - Legal

Location: Colombo 8, Sri Lanka

Core Responsibilities

Lead the drafting, review, and negotiation of legal documents, contracts, and agreements.
Provide strategic legal counsel on real estate transactions, corporate governance, and statutory compliance.
Identify, assess, and mitigate legal risks across business functions.
Represent the organization in Labour Tribunals, courts, and other legal proceedings.
Ensure strict regulatory compliance to mitigate financial and operational risks.
Coordinate with external legal advisors and oversee legal strategies.
Conduct legal training sessions to enhance compliance awareness.
Develop and manage a legal document management system for efficient access and organization.

Qualifications & Experience

LLB from a UGCSL-recognized university + Attorney at Law of the Supreme Court of Sri Lanka.
Notary License is required.
Minimum 10 years of experience in a senior legal role, preferably in a corporate or commercial environment.
Strong experience in capital markets, company secretarial work, and corporate governance is highly desirable.
Proven ability to handle complex legal matters independently.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and critical thinking skills.
High level of integrity, professionalism, and work ethic.
Proficient in MS Office and legal software applications.
