Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Director / General Manager - Sales to lead and drive the sales strategy for our FMCG business. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and executing sales plans, expanding market share, and leading a high-performing sales team. This role requires a deep understanding of the FMCG industry, strong leadership skills, and a proven track record of achieving revenue targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve business objectives.
  • Lead, mentor, and manage the sales team to drive performance and revenue growth.
  • Identify new business opportunities and expand market penetration.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, distributors, and partners.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and consumer preferences to optimize sales strategies.
  • Oversee sales forecasting, budgeting, and reporting to ensure financial targets are met.
  • Collaborate with marketing, supply chain, and other departments to enhance business growth.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and ethical sales practices.
  • Utilize data-driven insights to improve sales efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Key Requirements:

  • Bachelor's/Masters degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in sales leadership roles within the FMCG industry.
  • Strong understanding of FMCG sales channels, including modern trade, general trade, and e-commerce.
  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to develop strategic plans and translate them into actionable results.
  • Strong analytical skills with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
  • Willingness to travel as required.
