Job Title : Senior Executive - Finance ( Industry : Apparel )

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure the preparation of monthly financial statements by updating and maintaining the relevant accounting records in accordance with accepted accounting standards
• Liaise with external auditors, prepare account consolidations, and ensure that the organizational financial practices / processes / procedures comply with the accounting standards and policies
• Comply with corporate , statutory , and legal requirements and prepare financial statements whilst ensuring such reports meet set accounting standards / practices for compliance purposes
• Oversee the preparation of the balance sheet and liaise with related reporting persons to ensure timely reconciliations and reporting is carried out in an orderly manner
• Follow-up on bank reconciliations by coordinating with relevant parties and ensure monthly completion whilst taking necessary action to overcome deviations to set timeline
• Ensure the periodically Inventory verifications are performed and maintain 100% Inventory accuracy
• Perform additional duties commensurate with the current role , as and when requested by management

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in accounting/finance or management
• Possessing a postgraduate qualification will be a definite advantage ( MBA / CFA )
• 3 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing environment
• Computer skills : Microsoft Office applications ( Excel , Word ) , E-Mail and ability in understanding the accounting software principles
• Excellent attention to detail
• Exceptional level of attention to detail , excels in planning and organizing tasks , adept at meeting strict deadlines , and possesses strong negotiation skills for effective relationship building
