Requirements:

  • Completion of Diploma Level/NVQ Level qualification.
  • To be well versed and knowledge in Food Handlers Certification.
  • Minimum of 5-10 years of experience in a high-volume kitchen, including proficiency in managing long shifts.
  • Restaurant setting up and pre-opening experience will be an added advantage.
  • Proficiency in Jaffna and South Indian Food cuisine.
  • Capable of assisting with establishing of budgets and food costs.
  • Proficient in English communication.
  • Working knowledge of MS Office, restaurant management software, and POS systems.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team.
  • Ability to showcase seamless customer engagement and build long-term relationship.
  • Fostering a positive relationship with suppliers to have a seamless supply of Raw materials.
  • Demonstrated ability to motivate and effectively guide kitchen Restaurant staff.
  • Ability to perform reliably, flexibly, and responsibly under pressure.

Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • leadership of the kitchen operations and play a key role in pre-opening, Recruitment, Menu designing and Menu Engineering.
  • The candidate's culinary proficiency, leadership skills, and hands-on approach are crucial for upholding high standards of food quality and ensuring seamless kitchen functionality.
