Job Title: Manager - Sales Administration

Tasks and Responsibilities:

1. Staffing & Route Planning: Ensure proper staffing at showrooms, van sales, and depots, and ensure field sales staff adheres to route plans to maintain discipline and achieve targets.

2. Field Monitoring: Oversee mobile tracking systems, carry out random checks, and audit field operations for compliance in areas like merchandising and cash/cheque banking.

3. Field Visits: Spend 80% of the time conducting field visits to retail and wholesale locations to regularize systems and processes.

4. Reporting & Discipline: Ensure all sales staff adhere to company policies and processes. Initiate disciplinary actions when serious lapses are observed, and involve HR in case of significant offenses.

5. Sales Performance Tracking: Maintain records on sales performance by individual, location, and area to ensure alignment with company targets.

6. Incentive Management: Prepare and validate sales and distribution incentives, ensuring timely approval and submission to HR Department for monthly payouts.

7. Expenses & Allowances: Monitor and approve travel, subsistence, and weekly expenses for field sales and support functions such as the activation team.

8. Field Sales Grievances & Recruitment: Address sales staff grievances and lead recruitment interviews for field staff with the relevant Territory Manager. Involve HR where necessary.

9. Warehouse & Depot Visits: Conduct regular visits to the Central Warehouse, Main Depots, and Regional Depots to ensure compliance of systems and processes and take corrective action where necessary in coordination with the relevant Depot Manager and Head of Supply Chain.

10. Court Representation & Events: Represent the company in legal matters, and play an active role in organizing employee recognition events and sports activities.
