Requirements:

• At least 4-10 years experience in apparel. (preferred buying office experience), more than 5 years experience of Newborn, Children wear production will be an added advantage
• Degree or diploma in the Apparel, or textile field from a reputed institute.
• Maintain good tracking systems to monitor the style approvals and processes.
• Good knowledge about Construction and implementing production feasible methods.
• Good knowledge of embellishment methods and handling processes.
• Good Knowledge about safety requirements of NB and Children's wear production.
• Good knowledge of fabric qualities and test methods.

Tasks and Responsibilities:

• The Garment Technologist is responsible for managing all aspects of the garment technical process from development to final delivery.
• The Technologist must ensure all Customer requirements are understood by all parties and are achievable; each garment must be developed in such a way that is production viable.
• Coordinating and communicating with the customer on product-related issues pertaining to fit, construction, technical specifications, and raw materials, etc., and subsequently clarifying the requirements and recommending alternative value-added options to the customer to arrive at a mutually beneficial solution.
• Work closely with the sample rooms and conduct technical handovers as well as provide all required details to make all types of samples in a timely manner. Review test samples if required.
• Work with embellishments plant and conduct technical handovers as well as provide all required details to develop and make strikes off for bulk production and developments
