Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Logistics, or a related field; MBA preferred.
  • Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in sales and marketing within the logistics and freight forwarding industry.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of logistics and freight forwarding services.
  • Ability to analyze market trends and data to inform strategic decisions


Tasks and Responsibilities:

Sales Leadership:

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve company revenue targets.
  • Build and lead a sales team, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure high performance.
  • Monitor sales performance, analyze data, and adjust strategies as needed to meet objectives.

Business Development;

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the logistics and freight forwarding market.
  • Proactively go to market to acquire new clients and expand the customer base.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders.
  • Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends and competitive landscape.

Marketing Strategy:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive marketing plans to promote the company's services. 
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to create compelling marketing materials, campaigns, and digital content.
  • Utilize various marketing channels, including digital marketing, social media, and events, to increase brand awareness and generate leads.

Client Management:

  • Oversee key accounts, ensuring excellent customer service and satisfaction.
  • Address client concerns and resolve issues in a timely and effective manner.
  • Work closely with the operations team to ensure seamless service delivery to clients.

Financial Management:

  • Prepare and manage the sales and marketing budget.
  • Monitor expenses and ensure cost-effective strategies are implemented.
  • Report on sales and marketing performance to senior management.

Team Development:

  • Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing sales team.
  • Foster a positive and collaborative team environment.
  • Provide mentorship and professional development opportunities for team members.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations and set clear goals and objectives.
