Job Profile

• Maintain accurate records of financial transactions.
• Ensure compliance with Sri Lanka Accounting Standards (LKAS/SLFRS).
• Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Ensure the accuracy of income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable processes.
• Prepare and manage petty cash accounts.
• Prepare documentation for audits and assist auditors with financial data and compliance checks.
• Organize and maintain financial files and records.
• Handle expense reporting and reconciliation.
• Assist senior accountants and finance managers with reports and financial analysis.
• Help implement and improve financial policies and procedures.
• Utilize accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, ERPs) for financial data management.
• Stay updated on digital finance tools and trends.
• Prepare and submit weekly/monthly management reports.
• Calculate and process wages, ensuring compliance with payroll regulations.

Candidate Profile

• Bachelor's degree or professional qualification in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in an accounting or finance role.
• Strong knowledge of LKAS/SLFRS and financial reporting standards.
• Proficiency in accounting software such as Tally, QuickBooks, or ERP systems.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
