Senior Executive Sales Support and Operations

The ideal candidate will be responsible for:

The daily tracking of all pending transshipment sea export shipments (FCL /LCL) through the tracking and tracing of containers and BL from carriers web tracking

Coordinating with shippers and shipping lines, submitting SI (HBL/MBL) prior to EU/AMS BL cut off time, requesting proof BL copies, checking accuracy of the bls, and collecting final OBLs/seaways upon shippers confirmation

Handling liner payments and customer invoicing Creating jobs, updating MBL /HBL, and receiving EDOs from the carrier

The ideal candidate should possess:

A degree or professional qualification in sales with a minimum of 02 years freight forwarding experience or shipping sales experience

Good presentation skills, communication skills, and negotiation skills in both Sinhala and English

A strong understanding of logistics operations and the freight industry, products, and services

Proficiency in computer applications such as MS Office, MS Word, MS PowerPoint will be an added advantage
