Planning Assistant/Procurement Analyst

We Are Hiring - Planning Assistant/Procurement Analyst

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in demand planning, forecasting, and procurement scheduling to ensure timely material availability.
• Monitor and analyze procurement data, supplier performance, and inventory levels to identify trends and improvements.
• Collaborate with suppliers to ensure order accuracy, resolve discrepancies, and track deliveries, particularly for sea freight shipments.
• Work closely with internal teams including production, logistics, and finance to align procurement with business needs.
• Support (or lead) the negotiation of pricing and contract terms with suppliers to achieve cost savings.
• Conduct market research to assess price trends, raw material availability, and supply chain risks.

• Assist in implementing procurement best practices and process improvements.

• Prepare and present reports on procurement performance, supplier metrics, and inventory status for management.

• Ensure compliance with procurement policies and industry regulations.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Procurement, or related field (preferred).

• 1-2 years of experience in procurement, supply chain, or planning roles.

• Strong analytical and data interpretation skills with proficiency in Excel and Google Sheets.

• Excellent communication, coordination, and negotiation abilities.

• Very detail-oriented, with strong organizational and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.

• Positive, precise, and personable with a can-do attitude.

• Able to work independently and collaboratively, using initiative when required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in the nutraceutical, food, or pharmaceutical industry is a strong advantage.

• Familiarity with procurement and supply chain analytics.

• Knowledge of international sourcing and supplier management.
