Job Overview
Were looking for a dynamic and experienced Senior Ticketing and Tours Operator to lead and manage travel operations. This role is ideal for professionals with a strong background in ticketing, visa processing, and tour coordination (inbound and outbound), who are passionate about delivering exceptional travel experiences and driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the ticketing and visa team to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Plan and oversee travel services including ticketing, visa processing, and tour arrangements.
• Handle corporate and leisure travel requests professionally and efficiently.
• Build and maintain relationships with airlines, embassies, and travel agents.
• Use AMADEUS or similar systems for reservations and ticket issuance.
• Develop and promote outbound tour packages.
• Ensure timely and accurate visa applications for various destinations.
• Supervise and train junior staff in ticketing and tour operations.
• Manage the companys travel-related social media presence.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities, especially in corporate travel.
• Deliver excellent customer service and resolve travel-related issues promptly.

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of experience in the travel industry, preferably with a reputed travel agency.
• Strong knowledge of ticketing systems (especially AMADEUS) and visa processes.
• Proven experience in organizing inbound and outbound tours.
• Excellent communication skills in English, Sinhala, and Tamil.
• Strong leadership and team management abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and exceed client expectations.
• Familiarity with social media marketing for travel services is a plus.
• Well-established network of industry contacts is highly desirable.
• Preference for candidates residing close to the office location.

Preferred Background:

• Prior experience at Aitken Spence Travels, Jetwing Travels, Classic Travel, or Travelco Holidays.
