Job Title: System Engineer

Requirements:

• Design and deploy new enhancements to existing networks and systems.
• Propose and create system design models, specifications, diagrams, and charts to provide direction to system programmer and development teams.
• Design and perform server and security audits, system backup procedures, and other recovery processes in accordance with the company's disaster recovery and business continuity strategies.
• Integrate servers, including database, e-mail, and backup servers and their associated software into enterprise systems.
• Ensure system connectivity of all servers, shared software, groupware, and other applications.
• Create and maintain documentation as it relates to system configuration, mapping, processes, and service records.
• Ensure compatibility and interoperability of in-house computing systems.

Tasks and Responsibilities:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or a similar field.
• Having RHCE (Red Hat) and CCNA certificate is mandatory.
• CompTIAA+ or Network+, Vmware, Azure, Palo Alto, Fortinet, Sophos, and Kaspersky, certification may be advantageous.
• Should have experience in open source mail solutions like Zimbra.
• Having experience in virtualization environment like RHEV or Vmware ESXI will be an advantage.
• A minimum of 3 years' experience as a systems engineer.
• Familiarity with server operating systems, such as Linux and Microsoft. Experience with PaloAlto, Fortinet, Sopos, and Kaspersky.
• Good knowledge of networking protocols, such as MPLS, Routing Protocols, TCP, IP, and OSI models.
• Design, install, configure and maintain Linux system-based solutions.
• Harden Red hat, CentOS, Ubuntu based Linux systems and manage regular patch updates.
• Need to work with third party vendor solutions like email and email security.
• Doing POC, customer supports, implementation, troubleshooting, R&D related to proprietary software (Training will be provided).
• Should highly maintain 24x7 customer and in-house network maintained support.
• Ability to conduct research into systems issues and products as required.
• Ability to communicate ideas in both technical and user-friendly language. Highly self-motivated and directed, with keen attention to detail.
• Proven analytical and creative problem-solving abilities.
• Able to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment. Strong customer service orientation.
