General Manager


Job Summary:

The General Manager will play a strategic leadership role within the organization, reporting directly to the CEO. This position is responsible for overseeing the companys operations, driving growth, improving performance, and ensuring the long-term sustainability of the business. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in telecommunications and will be CIMA qualified, bringing financial and operational expertise to the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and execute the company's strategic vision in alignment with the overall objectives set by the CEO and Board of Directors.
  • Oversee and manage key operational areas of the business, including finance, sales, marketing, and service delivery, ensuring alignment with corporate goals.
  • Ensure the successful execution of business plans and initiatives to drive growth and profitability.
  • Monitor and evaluate performance metrics to ensure all departments meet their targets and deliver on key business objectives.
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to senior management, fostering a high-performance culture and motivating teams to achieve operational excellence.
  • Develop and manage financial plans, budgets, forecasts, and financial performance analysis to guide decision-making and improve company profitability.
  • Oversee risk management, compliance, and operational processes to ensure the company meets all regulatory and legal requirements.
  • Lead the companys expansion efforts in new markets, identifying and capitalizing on new business opportunities.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, vendors, government agencies, and internal teams.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies in the telecommunications sector.
  • Represent the company in meetings with clients, regulators, and other external stakeholders, ensuring the companys interests are well represented.

Key Skills & Qualifications:

  • CIMA qualified with a proven track record of strategic leadership in the telecommunications industry.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in senior management roles, with a strong background in the telecommunications sector.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing cross-functional teams, operations, and financial performance at a senior level.
  • Strong financial acumen, with the ability to analyze and interpret complex financial data.
  • Proven ability to drive business growth, improve performance, and lead operational change.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to think strategically and deliver results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Strong leadership and decision-making capabilities, with a track record of motivating teams to achieve business objectives.
  • In-depth understanding of telecommunications industry trends, regulations, and emerging technologies.
