Key Responsibilities:

• System Administration: Manage and maintain Windows servers, ensuring their stability, security, and optimal performance.
• Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve technical issues related to Windows systems promptly. This includes diagnosing problems, applying patches, and configuring system components.
• Monitoring and Maintenance: Monitor system health and performance using various tools, implementing preventive measures to ensure high availability and reliability.
• Security: Implement and maintain security measures, such as firewalls, access controls, and encryption, to safeguard systems and data.
• Backup and Recovery: Perform regular data backups and develop robust recovery strategies to protect against data loss.
• User Support: Provide technical support to end-users, assisting them with system-related queries and issues.
• Automation: Develop and implement scripts and automation tools to streamline routine tasks and improve operational efficiency.
• Patch Management: Apply updates, security patches, and software upgrades to keep the systems up-to-date and secure.
• Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps.
• Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, SAP Basis, and L3/L4 teams to resolve complex technical problems. 11. Ready to work 24/7 with rotational shifts.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Proficiency in Windows Server administration, including installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
• Strong knowledge of File System Management, Logical Volume Manager, iSCSI, NFS, NAS, Clustered File system, RAID, and Multipath.
• Certification equivalent to MCSE, MCSA is recommended.
• Must have knowledge and experience in cluster setup and troubleshooting.
• Microsoft Azure Certification (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate) showcasing expertise in Azure cloud services and management.
• Familiarity with virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V.
• Knowledge of networking concepts, protocols, and services.
