WE ARE HIRING: Maintenance and Project Engineer (Electrical) On Contract

Location: Colombo

Responsibilities:

• Timely and accurate identification/execution of preventive maintenance works for the existing electrical systems of buildings.
• Ensure scheduled repair/maintenance on properties aligns with planned timelines.
• Oversee repair/maintenance to ensure compliance with required quality and safety standards.
• Maintain continuous availability of maintenance services via timely contractor agreement renewals.
• Process contractor payments accurately and promptly, including retention releases.
• Optimize resource utilization to ensure timely and cost-effective task delivery.
• Provide expert advice and instructions to management to support decision-making.

Requirements:

Educational Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering from a recognized university.
• Must possess Charter in Electrical Engineering from the Institution of Engineers, Sri Lanka.
• Additional qualifications such as a recognized degree/diploma in Project Management, Energy Management, Facilities Management, or Green rating systems are considered an advantage.

Experience:

• Minimum 10 years of post-degree experience in maintenance, electrical system design, upgrades, and installation.
• Preferred Skills/Competencies:
• Experience in building maintenance, budget allocation, and project management.
• Technical knowledge in electrical system upgrades and recent developments.
• Strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills.
• Project and procurement management experience.
• Familiarity with budget management and energy rating systems.
