Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in finance, Accounting, Economics and Professional Qualification (ACCA /CA / CPA/ CIMA )
• A minimum of 5 years related experience in Financial and Statutory Reporting with proficiency in excel modelling 
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., formulas, VLOOKUP, pivot tables, and financial modelling). 
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and critical thinking skills. 
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines in a dynamic environment. 
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy. 
• A very good command of communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience with Excel formulas, and model building is a plus.
• Knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards. 

Tasks and Responsibilities:

• Prepare monthly and annual financial reports and statements, and management reporting packs while ensuring precision and adherence to all reporting timelines.
• Contribute to the statutory reporting process, including the preparation of reports in compliance with Australian Accounting Standards (AASB) 
• Develop and refine advanced financial models that underpin strategic business decisions. 
• Perform comprehensive financial data analysis to identify trends, variances, and actionable opportunities. 
• Actively take part in the preparation of annual budgets and related work. 
• Employ advanced Excel formulas and functions to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of data analysis and reporting workflows. 
• Facilitate cross-departmental collaboration to secure the necessary information for robust financial forecasting. 
• Support the budgeting and forecasting processes with detailed financial data analysis. 
• Engage in special projects and undertake additional responsibilities to meet the evolving needs of the finance department.
