Network Engineer Opportunity.

1. Job Location: Colombo
2. Working Hours: 24 hour roster shift
3. Working Days: 3 days WFO 2 days WFH (first 6 months have to come office until probation is over )
4. Working Method: Hybrid

Requirements:

• Implementing network infrastructure.
• Proactively monitoring network performance.
• Troubleshooting network faults.
• Adhering to all network security standards.
• Managing and maintaining network documentation and inventory.
• Collaborating with other business units where required.
• Maintaining current knowledge of industry trends and best practices.
• Adhering to all company policies.

Tasks and Responsibilities:

• Degree in Telecommunications or related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years experience in a networking related role.
• Good knowledge of IPv4 and IPv6 networks.
• Good understanding of ethernet switching technologies.
• Good understanding of Multiprotocol Label Switching(MPLS).
• Good understanding of IP routing and forwarding.
• Ability to work without supervision and in a team environment.
• Strong communication (both verbal and written) and interpersonal skills.
• The ability to communicate technical information to other business units in a concise manner.
• CCNP or equivalent experience will be highly regarded.
