Senior Executive Sales & Marketing Opportunity in Freight Forwarding industry.

• Location: CMB (HO)

• Work Type: Onsite

• Work Hours: 8AM - 5PM, 9AM - 1PM Saturday

• Working Days: Mon-Sat

The ideal candidate will be responsible for:

• Supporting the Sales & Marketing Team to achieve the team budget or exceeding the related targets i.e., financial or volume

• Assisting the sales and marketing team to meet the year-on-year financial growth and volume growth

• Overseeing worldwide freight bids and quotes to enhance yield

• New account acquisitions both local and international, to sustain the year-on-year growth expected by the company

• Negotiating competitive rates with suppliers i.e., air and ocean liners

• Resolving contractual and commercial disputes with suppliers and customers

• Maintaining excellent relationships with customers and suppliers to enhance business and additional trade lanes

• Periodically presenting information related to individual performance, statistical data, or market data

• Assisting with the formulation of forecasts

• Granting credit as per the company regulations and collecting of debts within the stipulated time frame

• Liaising with respective customers, internal operational staff, and documentation staff to achieve the completion of the process

• Maintaining key performance indicators and standards when executing assigned administrative work

The ideal candidate should possess:

- A degree or professional qualification in sales and marketing with 2 - 4 years of freight forwarding, sales, and marketing experience, along with a good understanding of logistics operations and the freight industry, products, and services

- An existing customer base and a proven track record of meeting company sales targets.

- An excellent command of the English and Sinhala language, both verbal and written .

- Proficiency in computer applications such as MS Office, MS Word, MS PowerPoint will be an added advantage.
