Assistant Manager IT 

Job Responsibilities 

1. IT Infrastructure & Security

• Design, implement, and maintain the companys IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and workstations.
• Ensure robust cybersecurity measures, including firewalls, antivirus solutions, and data encryption.
• Develop IT policies and procedures to ensure security, compliance, and efficiency.
• Monitor system performance and ensure minimal downtime.

2. ERP & Software Management

• Oversee the implementation of an ERP system for inventory, sales, service, and finance management.
• Ensure proper training for employees on ERP and software applications.
• Troubleshoot ERP and software-related issues and work with vendors for necessary upgrades or fixes.

3. IT Support

• Provide technical support to employees for hardware, software, and network-related issues.
• Manage IT asset procurement, tracking, and maintenance.
• Develop and implement IT training programs for staff.

4. Compliance & Risk Management

• Ensure IT systems comply with corporate and local regulations.
• Develop and implement disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
• Work with external vendors and consultants to ensure compliance with IT best practices.

Requirements

Education: Bachelors degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field.

Experience: 1+ years in IT management. 5+ years in IT sector. Experience in an automotives business would be an additional advantage.

Technical Skills:

• Experience with ERP systems (SAP B1, IFS, or similar).
• Knowledge in cloud computing (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
• Strong understanding of IT security best practices.
• Familiarity with networking, VPNs, firewalls, and remote access solutions.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
• Excellent communication skills to coordinate with non-technical teams.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment and take ownership of IT operations.
