Role Overview 

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Retail Manager to oversee the overall operations of a retail outlet and ensure smooth day-to-day functioning. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving sales performance, profitability, operational excellence, customer satisfaction, and team engagement while maintaining high retail standards. 

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the overall operations of the outlet, ensuring smooth and efficient day-to-day functioning.
• Drive sales, profitability, and operational performance to achieve budgeted targets.
• Oversee stock management, inventory control, stock takes, and merchandise availability.
• Ensure high standards of customer service and promptly address customer concerns.
• Monitor store presentation, merchandising, hygiene, safety, security, and housekeeping standards.
• Manage and motivate store teams while maintaining employee engagement and productivity.
• Support staff development by identifying training needs and fostering a performance-driven culture.
• Build and maintain effective relationships with suppliers and external stakeholders, including regulatory authorities.
• Coordinate promotional activities and marketing initiatives to drive sales and customer traffic.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, SOPs, corporate governance standards, and relevant regulations.

Candidate Profile

• Degree in Business Management or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a managerial role within the retail industry.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage teams and drive business performance.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
• Proficiency in English and Sinhala, both written and spoken.
