Role Overview

We are seeking a visionary and experienced Principal to lead the Sterling Automobiles Training School (SATS). This role involves overseeing all aspects of academic operations, faculty development, student success, and institutional management. The ideal candidate will combine strong leadership skills with deep knowledge of the automotive industry and a passion for advancing vocational education to meet industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

Academic & Operational Leadership

  • Provide academic and strategic leadership to achieve the schools goals and objectives.
  • Develop and implement academic and training programs that align with automotive industry needs.
  • Foster a culture of innovation, continuous learning, and excellence in teaching and performance.
  • Ensure compliance with accreditation and regulatory standards for vocational training institutions.

Curriculum & Faculty Management

  • Oversee curriculum design, instructional delivery, and student assessment.
  • Recruit, train, and evaluate faculty to maintain high teaching standards.
  • Promote professional development and ongoing learning for academic staff.
  • Industry Collaboration & Student Success
  • Build and strengthen partnerships with automotive industry stakeholders to ensure relevance and employability.
  • Monitor student performance, retention, and job placement outcomes.
  • Lead initiatives that enhance student engagement, discipline, and career readiness.

Administration & Resource Management

  • Manage budgets, facilities, and operational resources efficiently.
  • Prepare reports, strategic plans, and performance reviews for management.
  • Uphold Sterlings values, safety standards, and institutional policies.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelors Degree in Automobile/Auto Mechanical Engineering, Education, or a related discipline.
  • Professional certification in technical education or training management is preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of leadership experience in a technical or vocational education institution.
  • Strong understanding of automotive technology and training standards.
  • Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of curriculum design, instructional methodologies, and quality assurance systems.
