WE ARE HIRING : Planning Engineer

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Planning Engineer to join our clients dynamic engineering and construction team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for project planning, scheduling, and monitoring, ensuring that all project activities are completed efficiently, within budget, and on time.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain project schedules using appropriate planning software and methodologies.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to ensure accurate schedule updates.
• Analyze project progress and identify potential delays, risks, and critical paths.
• Prepare and maintain resource-loaded and cost-loaded schedules to support project budgeting.
• Monitor engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) progress and align activities with project milestones.
• Prepare weekly and monthly reports, including progress curves, S-curves, and performance dashboards.
• Support tender and bid teams in developing project execution schedules and timelines.
• Review and validate subcontractor schedules to ensure alignment with project objectives.
• Conduct delay analysis and provide mitigation strategies to ensure project delivery within deadlines.
• Collaborate with the finance and procurement teams to ensure cost and resource optimization.
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with quality and safety standards.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelors Degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical) or a related field.
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in project planning within the construction, infrastructure, or engineering industries.
• Strong expertise in Primavera P6, MS Project, and other scheduling tools.
• Knowledge of project control principles, cost management, and resource allocation.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong communication and reporting skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced project environment.

• Proficiency in MS Excel, Primavera, and project management systems.
