Job Overview
Were looking for a strategic and analytical Senior Business Analyst Data Science to bridge business objectives with data-driven solutions. This role is ideal for professionals with strong experience in business analysis, data science initiatives, and cross-functional collaboration in fast-paced environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Gather, define, and prioritize business and functional requirements for data science projects.
• Analyze complex business problems and translate them into data-driven models and actionable insights.
• Create high-quality documentation including business process models, use cases, workflows, and functional specifications.
• Support product and data teams throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Ensure alignment between business needs and analytics, data engineering, and AI/ML outputs.
• Facilitate communication between technical and non-technical teams.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, backlog grooming, retrospectives).
• Apply risk management techniques and support financial/contract management.
• Contribute to quality assurance, change management, and continuous improvement efforts.
• Assist in project scheduling, time management, and milestone tracking.

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (Masters preferred).
• 5+ years of experience in business analysis, with a focus on data science or analytics projects.
• Proficient in business process modeling, stakeholder engagement, and documentation.
• Skilled in tools such as Microsoft Excel, Visio, JIRA, Confluence.
• Strong understanding of Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid SDLC methodologies.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

Preferred Skills & Experience:

• Certifications: CBAP®, CCBA®, PMI-PBA®.
• Experience in domains such as banking, healthcare, logistics, or software development.
• Familiarity with data analysis and visualization tools (SQL, Power BI, Tableau).
• Understanding of UX/UI principles and collaboration with design/product teams.
• Exposure to contract and budget management in project-specific contexts.
