About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly analytical and results-driven Business Analyst to support strategic decision-making through data analysis, process improvement, business reporting, and operational performance evaluation.

The successful candidate will work closely with stakeholders across Production, Quality, Technical, Planning, Purchasing, Finance, Sales, and HR to identify business needs, improve processes, and provide actionable insights that drive operational excellence and business growth.

Key Responsibilities

Business Analysis & Process Improvement

• Analyze business operations, processes, and performance data to support management decision-making.
• Identify operational gaps, business needs, and process improvement opportunities.
• Gather, document, and validate business requirements through stakeholder discussions, observations, and data analysis.
• Map current business processes and develop future-state process recommendations.
• Conduct root cause analysis and gap assessments to resolve recurring operational challenges.
• Promote fact-based decision-making, process standardization, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Data Analysis & Reporting

• Analyze operational, financial, commercial, and production data to identify trends, risks, variances, and opportunities.
• Develop dashboards, KPI reports, and management information summaries.
• Support departments in defining measurable KPIs and reporting methodologies.
• Identify data quality issues and coordinate corrective actions with relevant stakeholders.
• Prepare presentations and analytical reports for management review and decision-making.

Business Systems & Project Support

• Support feasibility studies, cost-benefit analyses, and business cases for improvement projects.
• Coordinate with users and system providers on ERP, reporting, and process enhancement requirements.
• Prepare functional requirement documents, process flows, specifications, user stories, and project documentation.
• Support user acceptance testing, issue resolution, implementation activities, and post-implementation reviews.
• Monitor project deliverables, risks, action plans, and benefits realization.
• Maintain accurate records of requirements, analyses, approvals, reports, and process documentation.

Stakeholder Engagement

• Facilitate requirement-gathering workshops and process review sessions.
• Provide guidance and knowledge transfer relating to reports, systems, and business processes.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure successful implementation of business improvements.
• Protect confidential company, customer, supplier, employee, and financial information.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Business Analytics, Business Management, Information Systems, Finance, Engineering, Statistics, Data Science, or a related discipline.
• Professional qualification in Business Analysis, Project Management, or Data Analytics will be an added advantage.
• Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience in business analysis, data analysis, management reporting, process improvement, or project coordination.
• Experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment will be highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of business requirements gathering and analysis methodologies.
• Experience in process mapping and process improvement initiatives.
• Strong data analysis and visualization capabilities.
• Experience developing KPI reports, dashboards, and management reports.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with Power BI or similar business intelligence and reporting tools.
• Understanding of ERP systems and business process workflows.
• Strong experience in cost-benefit analysis and feasibility studies.
• Excellent documentation, presentation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving ability, and attention to detail.
• High level of integrity, confidentiality, and accountability.
