Role Overview

We are seeking experienced and detail-oriented Executives and Team Leaders / Specialists – Customer Service & Operations to support customer service and operational activities within the freight forwarding industry, covering air, sea, and road freight.

The selected candidates will be responsible for handling end-to-end freight forwarding operations, coordinating shipment-related activities, managing customer communication, supporting documentation, and ensuring smooth operational delivery. This role is ideal for candidates with solid freight forwarding industry exposure and strong experience in customer service and logistics operations.

Key Responsibilities

Freight Forwarding Operations

  • Handle end-to-end freight forwarding operations across air, sea, and road freight.
  • Coordinate shipment activities, bookings, documentation, and operational follow-ups.
  • Support import and export processes while ensuring accuracy and timely completion.
  • Monitor shipment progress and provide regular updates to relevant stakeholders.
  • Ensure operational activities are completed according to service standards and timelines.

Customer Service & Communication

  • Communicate professionally with customers, internal teams, overseas agents, carriers, and service providers.
  • Respond to customer inquiries and provide timely updates on shipment status.
  • Handle customer concerns, operational issues, and service-related follow-ups.
  • Maintain clear and accurate communication throughout the shipment process.
  • Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction through timely and professional support.

Documentation & Process Coordination

  • Prepare, check, and support freight-related documentation.
  • Ensure all shipment records, customer updates, and operational documents are maintained accurately.
  • Coordinate with relevant teams to resolve documentation or process-related issues.
  • Support smooth workflow between customer service, operations, and logistics teams.
  • Maintain proper follow-up on pending tasks and operational deadlines.

Candidate Profile

For Executive Level

  • Minimum 2–3 years of experience in freight forwarding operations, customer service, or logistics operations.
  • Strong understanding of end-to-end freight forwarding processes across air, sea, and road freight.
  • Experience in shipment coordination, customer follow-ups, and operational documentation.
  • Good communication skills in English.
  • Strong attention to detail, coordination skills, and ability to meet deadlines.

General Requirements

  • Solid freight forwarding industry exposure is essential.
  • Experience in air freight, sea freight, road freight, import/export operations, or logistics documentation will be preferred.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently while maintaining productivity and communication discipline.
  • Good computer literacy and ability to work with operational systems and reporting tools.
  • Strong time management, follow-up, and organizational skills.
