WE ARE HIRING : Senior Engineer - Tableau Developer

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Tableau Developer to join our clients Business Intelligence and Data Analytics team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and delivering advanced data visualizations, ensuring data accuracy and integrity, and enabling strategic decision-making through powerful dashboards and insights. This role also involves providing technical leadership and mentoring to junior team members.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain advanced Tableau dashboards and reports.

• Translate business requirements into effective, user-friendly data visualization solutions.

• Optimize Tableau dashboards for performance, scalability, and user experience.

• Collaborate with data engineers to ensure data sources are accurate, clean, and well-structured.

• Implement and enforce data governance, security, and compliance protocols.

• Conduct detailed data analysis and validation to ensure data integrity across BI outputs.

• Gather stakeholder feedback, refine dashboard features, and enhance visualization effectiveness.

• Create and maintain documentation for dashboards, data models, data flows, and design logic.

• Stay updated on the latest Tableau features, BI trends, and best practices in data visualization.

• Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior BI engineers.

Applicant Profile

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or 5+ years of relevant industry experience.

• Minimum 5 years of BI development experience within the Banking domain.

• Strong expertise in Tableau Desktop, Tableau Server, and Tableau Prep.

• Advanced proficiency in SQL, including complex queries, stored procedures, and performance tuning.

• Strong understanding of data visualization principles, UX design, and BI best practices.

• Experience with scripting languages such as Python or R is an added advantage.

• Excellent analytical thinking, problem-solving abilities, and communication skills.

• Tableau certifications such as Tableau Desktop Certified Professional or Tableau Certified Data Analyst will be a strong advantage.
