Role Overview
We are seeking a confident, people focused, and well organized Senior Executive - HR / Assistant Manager - HR to support HR operations, employee relations, recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and HR administration within the pest control and fumigation industry.
The selected candidate will be responsible for handling day to day HR functions, maintaining employee records, supporting staff engagement, ensuring compliance with Sri Lankan labour law, and contributing to a positive and productive work environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage recruitment and onboarding activities for new employees.
- Oversee leave, attendance, and HR record keeping processes.
- Handle employee relations matters and support conflict resolution.
- Support morale boosting and staff empowerment initiatives.
- Coordinate performance reviews, appraisals, and related documentation.
- Maintain accurate HR reports, employee files, and administrative records.
- Ensure HR practices are aligned with company policies and Sri Lanka labour law.
- Support management in handling staff communication and workplace matters.
- Assist in improving HR processes, employee engagement, and workplace discipline.
- Coordinate with internal departments to ensure smooth HR operations.
Candidate Profile
- Degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field is required.
- Postgraduate qualification in HRM will be a strong advantage.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Human Resources.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a supervisory or managerial HR role.
- Experience in a service industry or family run business will be an advantage.
- Strong knowledge of Sri Lanka labour law.
- Good experience in employee relations, conflict resolution, HR reporting, and record keeping.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and perform under pressure.
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Willingness to learn ERP systems and AI tools.
- Professional, reliable, confidential, and capable of handling HR matters independently.
