Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Credit Analyst / Subject Matter Expert to support credit processing operations for the Australian region. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in mortgage loan processing, exceptional analytical abilities, and the capability to manage end-to-end credit assessment workflows with accuracy and efficiency. This role is ideal for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced BPO/financial services environment and are committed to delivering high-quality outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and process mortgage loan applications in accordance with Australian lending standards.
• Prepare and submit reports on credit processing metrics, loan outcomes, and other insights required by management.
• Ensure the accuracy and completeness of loan documentation and verify compliance with credit processing guidelines.
• Communicate with brokers and internal teams to clarify information, resolve discrepancies, and ensure timely processing.
• Utilize lending industry software and tools effectively to manage credit workflows.
• Provide subject-matter expertise for complex loan applications, policy interpretation, and process optimization.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives within the credit analysis and processing function.

Key Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in Australian Mortgage Loan Processing OR
• 2+ years of experience in UK Mortgage Loan Processing
• Sound knowledge of lending industry regulations, processes, and workflow systems.
• Hands-on experience with end-to-end mortgage loan processing.
• Strong communication skills to collaborate with brokers and cross-functional teams.
• High attention to detail with the ability to analyze financial documents and identify inconsistencies.
• Ability to work under minimal supervision while prioritizing multiple tasks effectively.
