WE ARE HIRING: Pricing Supervisor

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Pricing Supervisor to manage pricing activities within logistics operations. The role focuses on sourcing competitive supplier rates, preparing quotations and proposals, managing the pricing team, maintaining pricing databases, and supporting revenue growth through effective pricing strategies and customer engagement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Contribute to achieving departmental revenue and volume targets

  • Prepare and submit quotations and proposals within defined timelines for self and team

  • Ensure quotations are submitted in line with departmental KPIs

  • Source and ensure competitive pricing from suppliers to improve win ratios

  • Maintain and update electronic pricing databases for customers and prospects, including pricing, volumes, services, and key contacts

  • Enhance market and competitor knowledge through continuous self-development and product training

  • Perform duties as directed by line management and adapt to evolving job requirements through multitasking

  • Participate in team meetings and support commercial team activities as required

  • Represent the organization at conferences and corporate events when required

Qualifications

Educational Qualifications

  • Graduate with a recognized university degree

Professional / Technical Requirements

  • Valid driving license

  • High level of industry knowledge

  • Excellent English communication skills

  • Proficiency in MS Office applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint, with ability to learn new systems quickly

Experience

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role

  • High attention to detail

  • Selling and influencing skills

  • Presentation skills for client meetings and sales visits

  • Team management capability, including supervision of pricing and customer service staff
