Duties & Responsibilities

• Define user stories, tasks, and timelines in line with assigned projects, guiding team efforts toward successful and timely delivery within sprint goals.

• Provide technical leadership to teammates through coaching and mentorship.

• Lead daily stand-ups, ensuring visibility of team member activities and alignment.
• Extend knowledge of solutions across the team, encouraging shared responsibility.
• Escalate performance issues to HR and Head of Software when standards are not met.
• Maintain high standards of software quality through best practices, Sonar Cloud quality gates, and code reviews.
• Fully own solutions under team responsibility, including daily monitoring, dashboards, KPIs, and alert thresholds for proactive production issue handling.
• Identify and encourage areas for growth and improvement, fostering collaboration and team spirit.
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and software architects to plan, design, develop, test, and maintain business applications.

• Refine and tune integrations between applications.

• Assist Business Analysts in collecting and documenting user requirements.

• Analyse and resolve technical and application problems; assess opportunities for process improvement and document rationale.

• Support recruitment activities, including interviews and assessments.

• Stay up to date with the latest trends in software development.

Job Requirements

• Degree in Software Development, Computer Science, or related discipline.

• Minimum 5 years of experience in software development using C#, .NET, and SQL Server.
• Proven experience in the banking/financial services domain (investment-related experience preferred).
• Hands-on experience with diverse software development approaches and methodologies.

• Experience in requirements gathering, analysis, and process improvement.

• Strong people management skills with proven ability to lead, influence, and mentor teams.
• Experience in personal development planning, individual, team, and process performance management.
• Proven success in leading and delivering system/software projects in a structured environment.

• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.

• Strong influencing skills, with the ability to drive projects toward key milestones and overcome challenges.

• Desire to remain technically capable and up to date with current technologies.
