Job Overview
Were looking for a talented and driven Senior Software Engineer Business Automation to lead the development of workflow solutions that enhance operational efficiency in the banking sector. This role demands full-stack development expertise and a passion for driving automation across enterprise systems, with a focus on IBM Cloud Pak for Business Automation (CP4BA).

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and customize business process workflows and automation frameworks.
• Collaborate with Operations and BPR teams to identify and implement automation opportunities.
• Build backend integration layers and frontend interfaces using modern development tools.
• Develop integrations with external applications via RESTful and SOAP APIs.
• Ensure solutions meet security, compliance, performance, and scalability standards.
• Lead testing, deployment, and optimization of workflows.
• Mentor junior developers and promote coding standards and innovation.
• Stay updated on automation tools, frameworks, and methodologies.
• Influence automation strategies through problem-solving and stakeholder engagement.

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (Masters or certifications in automation is a plus).
• 6+ years of professional software development experience, with strong exposure to business process automation.
• Proven success in leading enterprise-grade automation projects.
• Experience in banking systems or financial services is highly desirable.
• Backend: Java and/or .NET.
• Frontend: JavaScript, React, Node.js, HTML, CSS.
• Data & Integration: SQL, stored procedures, XML.
• Integration: REST/SOAP Web Services.
• Automation: OCR technologies, content management systems, IBM ODM.
• Development Practices: Agile, DevOps, case management systems.
