Location: Remote (Sri Lanka) with in-office presence if it is needed, in Colombo 01

Role Overview

We are seeking a seasoned and proactive HR Manager to lead and oversee the full spectrum of human resources functions for our Sri Lanka operations. This role requires a strategic thinker with hands-on experience in managing HR processes, driving employee engagement, and ensuring compliance with local labor laws.

Key Responsibilities

• Strategic Talent Acquisition & Onboarding
  • Lead recruitment efforts and ensure alignment with workforce planning
  • Oversee onboarding processes to ensure a seamless new hire experience
• Employee Relations & Culture Building
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to employees and leadership on HR matters
  • Foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture through engagement initiatives
• Performance & Talent Development
  • Manage performance review cycles and support leadership in talent development
  • Implement career progression frameworks and succession planning strategies
• Compensation, Payroll & Compliance
  • Coordinate payroll processes and ensure adherence to EPF/ETF and labor regulations
  • Maintain HR documentation and support internal audits
• Offboarding & Transitions
  • Conduct exit interviews and manage offboarding procedures
  • Analyze turnover trends and recommend retention strategies
• HR Operations & Reporting
  • Maintain HRIS systems and employee records
  • Generate reports and insights to support decision-making

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of progressive HR experience, including at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial capacity
• Strong knowledge of Sri Lankan labor laws and HR compliance
• Proven ability to manage HR functions independently and strategically
• Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills
• Experience in remote work environments and cross-cultural teams is an advantage.
