Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Project Engineer Civil to support and execute civil engineeringrelated project components. The ideal candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery, quality compliance, and effective coordination of civil works. This role requires strong technical expertise, excellent documentation skills, and the ability to manage contractor interactions and site readiness activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical inputs and prepare detailed procurement documentation for civil works (BoQs, specifications, drawings).

• Work closely with the Facilities Management Department to ensure timely execution of civil works aligned with contractor schedules.

• Inspect civil works for safety, quality, and compliance with engineering standards.

• Support bid evaluations and oversee site readiness for contractor mobilization.

• Maintain accurate reporting, documentation, and communication related to civil project components.

• Collaborate closely with Contractors, Project Leads, and Project Management teams to ensure smooth project implementation and communication.

Qualifications & Experience

Educational Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized local or foreign university.

• Associate Membership of the Institution of Engineers, Sri Lanka (IESL) is required.

Experience

• Minimum 05 years of post-qualification experience in civil design, construction, renovation, or infrastructure projects.

• Experience in large-scale building or infrastructure projects is preferred.

• Ability to work in regulated or structured project environments is an added advantage.

Preferred Skills / Other Qualifications

• Strong skills in civil engineering design, interior designing, budget allocation/management, and project management.

• A recognized degree/diploma in Project Management will be an added advantage.

• Excellent communication, analytical, coordination, and reporting skills.

• Ability to work collaboratively with contractors and internal stakeholders.
