Role Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Group Manager – Human Resources to lead and manage HR operations across multiple properties. This role focuses on talent acquisition, employee relations, HR compliance, performance management, and driving people excellence across a growing hospitality group.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the end-to-end recruitment and selection 
  • process, ensuring timely hiring of high-quality talent across all properties
  • Ensure full compliance with Sri Lankan labor laws, statutory requirements (EPF / ETF), company policies, and audit standards
  • Drive HR policy implementation and governance, ensuring consistency and best practices across all locations
  • Partner with department and property heads to enhance employee capability, productivity, and service standards
  • Ensure 100% completion of performance appraisals and strengthen the performance management framework
  • Manage employee relations, including disciplinary and grievance handling, ensuring timely and fair resolutions
  • Conduct regular property visits and HR audits, providing actionable insights and recommendations
  • Support workforce planning, succession planning, and talent retention strategies
  • Promote positive employee engagement and organizational culture initiatives

Job Requirements

  • Degree or professional qualification in HRM (CIPM / PQHRM or equivalent)
  • Minimum 3–5 years' experience in similar capacity
  • Proven experience in training & development is an added advantage
  • Strong knowledge of Sri Lankan labor laws and HR best practices
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to travel across properties when required
