Role Overview 

We are seeking an analytical and detail-oriented Team Lead – Data Management to lead a team of Data Quoting Specialists and Analysts while ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and efficiency of customer quoting and data management processes. The successful candidate will combine strong leadership capabilities with advanced Excel expertise and a passion for data analysis. This role will be responsible for managing a team, supporting quoting operations, improving data quality, streamlining processes, and delivering accurate information to internal and external stakeholders. Key Responsibilities 

Team Leadership & Collaboration

  • Lead, coach, support, and develop a team of Data Quoting Specialists and Analysts.
  • Provide guidance and oversight to ensure the delivery of high-quality and accurate work.
  • Delegate projects effectively while maintaining accountability for team performance.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to understand customer-specific quoting requirements.
  • Build strong cross-functional relationships and promote a collaborative team environment.
  • Drive efficiency improvements and support ongoing process optimization initiatives.

Data Analysis & Integrity

  • Gather, analyze, interpret, and validate data from internal systems.
  • Identify trends, patterns, inconsistencies, and opportunities for process improvement.
  • Investigate data integrity issues and perform root cause analysis.
  • Develop and implement solutions to prevent recurring data quality issues.
  • Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and reliability of business-critical information.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives through data-driven insights and recommendations.

Quoting & Sales Support

  • Create accurate sales quotation sheets for customers in the U.S. and international markets.
  • Provide the sales team with timely and accurate quoting support based on customer requirements.
  • Review, validate, and maintain quoting information to ensure consistency and accuracy.
  • Support business operations by delivering accurate data required for decision-making and customer engagement.

Process Documentation & Operational Excellence

  • Develop and maintain procedural documentation, user guides, and process manuals.
  • Ensure consistency of operational procedures across teams.
  • Support onboarding and training activities for team members.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline workflows and improve operational efficiency.
  • Promote best practices across data management and quoting processes.

Candidate Profile

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including:
    • VLOOKUP
    • INDEX & MATCH
    • IF Functions
    • CONCATENATE
    • Macros
  • Prior experience managing or leading a small team is essential.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Ability to identify process improvements and implement practical solutions.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills with the ability to work under tight deadlines.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
  • Ability to work effectively across multiple teams and organizational levels.
  • Flexible, adaptable, and comfortable working within a fast-paced business environment.
  • Experience in Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) or direct imports will be an added advantage.
  • Willingness and ability to work an evening schedule to align with U.S.-based operations.
  • Ability to work additional hours when business requirements demand.
