Customer Services Executive Marine Logistics

Location: Colombo 01, Sri Lanka

Our client, a leading global player in Marine Logistics, is looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Customer Services Executive Marine Logistics to join their team in Colombo.

Key Responsibilities

  • Handle daily inquiries from customers and overseas agents regarding marine ship spares, shipment status, documentation and operations.

  • Coordinate closely with the team in Hong Kong and local stakeholders to ensure smooth and timely service delivery.

  • Negotiate rates and contracts with overseas agents and vendors while ensuring profitability and customer satisfaction.

  • Prepare, verify and process billing & freight documentation, issue invoices and follow up on payments; resolve any billing discrepancies.

  • Accurately input shipment and billing data into internal systems and maintain well-organized records.

  • Provide training and support to new team members on marine logistics processes.

Candidate Profile

  • High school / college or university graduate.

  • Good knowledge or background in logistics / freight / shipping.

  • Strong communication skills in English both written and spoken.

  • Confident user of MS Office and collaboration tools (e.g. MS Teams).

  • Customer-focused, helpful and able to build strong relationships with internal teams and overseas partners.

  • High level of integrity, attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9.00 a.m. 6.00 p.m.
