Role Overview
We are seeking a visionary and results-driven Sales Director India to lead the strategic growth of our clients technology-driven solutions business across the Indian market. The role will focus on developing and executing high-impact sales strategies, expanding market share, and driving revenue growth while building long-term relationships with enterprise customers and partners. The ideal candidate will be an accomplished sales leader with a deep understanding of the IT and technology landscape.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve business growth targets across India.
- Lead, mentor, and manage the regional sales team to ensure performance excellence and goal achievement.
- Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities and emerging market segments.
- Build and nurture strategic partnerships and alliances to expand the companys footprint.
- Drive enterprise-level sales, focusing on IT, cloud solutions, cybersecurity, and managed services.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including marketing, product management, and delivery to ensure alignment with organizational objectives.
- Manage key client relationships, leading negotiations and closing high-value deals.
- Monitor and report on market trends, competition, and customer insights to guide business strategy.
- Ensure consistent achievement of sales targets, profitability goals, and pipeline management standards.
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking forums.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field (MBA preferred).
- Minimum 10+ years of experience in IT or technology sales, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
- Strong track record of managing regional or national sales operations and achieving business growth.
- Proven experience in enterprise technology sales, including cloud computing, SaaS, cybersecurity, or infrastructure solutions.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
- Strategic thinker with strong business acumen and analytical ability.
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and deliver results in a dynamic, competitive environment.
- Willingness to travel across India and internationally when required.
