Job Summary Production Manager

The Production Manager is responsible for leading and optimizing manufacturing operations to ensure efficient production output, high-quality products, cost control, safety compliance, and continuous improvement across all processes. This role involves oversight of daily production activities, workforce management, quality assurance, maintenance coordination, and operational planning.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day production and packing operations and ensure timely completion of planned orders.
• Implement strong quality control systems and collaborate with QC teams to achieve product compliance standards.
• Manage compounding and production processes, monitor outputs, and minimize waste and rejects.
• Coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance to reduce machine downtime.
• Align production with procurement, logistics, and sales for smooth workflow.
• Manage production budgets, track KPIs (throughput, yield, waste, OEE) and report to management.
• Analyze production data to identify inefficiencies and drive cost-effective improvements.
• Lead CI initiatives such as Lean, 5S, and Six Sigma for productivity enhancement.
• Conduct team meetings, performance reviews, training and skill development for production teams.
• Ensure workplace safety, regulatory compliance and maintain operational discipline.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelors Degree or NDT/HND in Engineering, Science, Supply Chain or related field.
• 35 years experience in a manufacturing or production environment with leadership background.
• Strong people management, analytical and decision-making skills.
• Proficient in MS Office with strong organizational and multitasking ability.
• Capable of motivating teams and fostering a continuous-improvement culture.
