Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of Engineering to lead and oversee all engineering, maintenance, and facility operations. The ideal candidate will preferably have an Electrical Engineering background with proven expertise in boiler operations, and strong experience managing engineering functions within fabric mills or large-scale factories. This role is responsible for ensuring operational efficiency, compliance, and continuous improvement across all engineering activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the engineering and maintenance functions across the factory.
• Oversee boiler operations, utilities, and plant infrastructure to ensure maximum uptime and efficiency.
• Develop and implement preventive and corrective maintenance strategies.
• Manage engineering budgets, cost optimization, and supplier/vendor relationships.
• Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, and environmental standards.
• Drive process improvements, energy efficiency, and sustainability initiatives.
• Lead installation, commissioning, and upgrades of new machinery and equipment.
• Mentor and develop engineering teams to build technical capability and operational excellence.
• Collaborate with production and quality teams to minimize downtime and improve productivity.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering (preferred) or Mechanical/Industrial Engineering.
• Hands-on knowledge and certification in boiler operations is required.
• 10+ years of experience in engineering leadership roles, preferably in a fabric mill or large manufacturing facility.
• Strong technical knowledge in utility management, plant maintenance, and machinery operations.
• Proven track record of leading large engineering teams and driving efficiency improvements.
• Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
