Location: Colombo 03 (On-site)
Experience Required: Minimum 5 years in a Non-Bank Financial Institution (NBFI); compliance experience is an advantage

Job Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Manager Compliance to ensure regulatory adherence and strengthen governance frameworks within a leading financial organization. This role involves implementing compliance programs, conducting audits, and liaising with regulatory bodies to maintain operational integrity and legal compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure timely compliance with all regulatory acts, directions, circulars, rules, and guidelines.
• Implement and monitor compliance relating to Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Counter-Terrorism Financing (CFT) regulations.
• Report compliance status of CBSL on-site examinations promptly.
• Develop and maintain a compliance manual for the organization.
• Guide key management staff, CEO, and Board of Directors on regulatory requirements.
• Conduct policy and compliance audits and liaise with internal and external auditors.
• Prepare monthly compliance reports for the Board and subcommittees.
• Handle official meetings, correspondence, and ensure timely submission of regulatory reports.

Requirements

• Bachelors degree or professional qualification in Finance, Management, Law, or related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in NBFI; compliance experience preferred.
• Advanced quantitative and analytical skills.
• Strong knowledge of industry standards, legal requirements, and compliance best practices.
• Excellent command of English and ability to resolve issues independently.

Additional Details

• Work Hours: Monday to Friday (8:30 AM 5:30 PM), First & Last Saturdays (Half day: 8:30 AM 1:30 PM).
