Role Overview
Our client is seeking an experienced Sales Manager – Data Analytics to drive sales performance, develop and execute effective sales strategies, and lead a high-performing sales team. The role focuses on achieving revenue growth, maintaining profitability, strengthening client relationships, and collaborating closely with technical teams to deliver data analytics solutions aligned with customer needs.
Key Responsibilities

Proactively drive the sales team to meet and exceed company goals, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives

Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue KPIs in the data analytics segment

Lead, manage, and develop a high-performing sales team through guidance, training, and ongoing support

Build and maintain strong client relationships, understanding data analytics needs and ensuring customer satisfaction
-
Stay informed about market trends, competitor offerings, and industry developments in data analytics
-
Conduct presentations to potential clients, showcasing data analytics products and services
-
Maintain accurate records of all sales activities in relevant systems
-
Lead negotiations of proposals and contracts, ensuring favorable terms and conditions

Ensure healthy profit margins and financially sustainable deals

Develop and maintain accurate sales forecasts and monitor progress against targets

Work closely with data analytics and technical teams to align solutions with client requirements

Provide regular and accurate sales reports to senior management, highlighting KPIs and achievements

Implement strategies to enhance client satisfaction and retention

Identify and escalate customer concerns promptly to ensure timely resolution

Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with vendors to support strategic goals

Represent the organization at sales and marketing events, driving engagement and promoting products and services
Qualifications & Experience
Educational Qualifications
-
Bachelors Degree in Business Management, Sales, Marketing, or a related field
-
Masters Degree will be an added advantage
Experience
-
Minimum 5+ years of experience in sales
-
At least 2 years experience in a leadership or managerial role
-
Proven track record in selling products or services
-
Familiarity with SAP, relevant technologies, and methodologies
Skills & Competencies

Strong leadership and team management skills

Excellent negotiation and presentation abilities

Good understanding of the broader technology and business landscape
