We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Sales Specialist (Junior / Senior Executive) to support inbound sales and customer engagement within the travel and tourism sector. This role is ideal for individuals with a passion for travel, strong communication skills, and the ability to convert inquiries into confirmed bookings while delivering exceptional customer experiences.
The successful candidate will play a key role in driving sales performance, supporting sustainable tourism initiatives, and building long-term customer relationships.
Key Responsibilities

Manage inbound sales inquiries through multiple channels including email, phone, social media, and walk-ins.

Convert leads into confirmed bookings using ethical and customer-centric sales techniques.

Conduct trip planning sessions for prospective customers, providing detailed travel guidance and recommendations.

Act as a subject matter expert on local destinations, routes, attractions, and travel experiences.

Promote additional services through upselling and cross-selling opportunities.

Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, leads, and bookings using CRM systems.

Follow structured sales follow-up processes to maximize conversion rates.

Provide timely and professional responses to customer inquiries and concerns.

Candidate Profile

Hands-on experience in sales, preferably within travel, tourism, or hospitality.

Strong knowledge of local destinations, culture, geography, and travel routes.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

Familiarity with digital sales tools and CRM systems.

Customer-first mindset with strong interpersonal and persuasion skills.

Ability to multitask, follow up consistently, and work in a target-driven environment.

Multilingual skills and experience with adventure or experiential travel brands will be an added advantage.
