Role Overview

We are seeking a driven and analytical Senior Executive / Executive – International Sales to support global commodities trading operations. This role involves market analysis, trade execution, risk management, and building strong relationships with international buyers, brokers, and logistics partners in a fast-paced, global trading environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute physical and/or derivatives trades across global commodities markets.

• Conduct detailed market analysis to identify trends, pricing opportunities, and arbitrage potential.

• Analyze supply-demand dynamics, market fundamentals, and geopolitical factors impacting commodity markets.

• Develop and implement trading strategies to ensure consistent profitability.

• Manage trading risks and exposure in line with company policies.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with buyers, clients, brokers, and logistics partners.

• Monitor contract performance, logistics coordination, and settlement processes.

• Track macroeconomic trends, regulatory changes, and geopolitical risks affecting markets.

• Prepare regular market updates and P&L reports for internal stakeholders.

Candidate Profile / Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years experience in commodities trading or a related industry.

• Early to mid-career professionals (approximately ages 25–35) are encouraged to apply.

• Strong understanding of commodity market structures, pricing mechanisms, trade flows, and logistics.

• Proven knowledge of commodities markets and trading principles.

• Demonstrated ability to drive profitable trading and effective risk management.

• Strong analytical and quantitative skills.

• Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building abilities.

• Self-motivated, resilient, and able to perform under pressure in time-sensitive environments.

• Established network within the commodities trading space will be an advantage.
