WE ARE HIRING: Hospitality Service Officer (Contract)

Role Overview

We are seeking a service-oriented Hospitality Service Officer to support hospitality services for official meetings, functions, and VIP visits. The role focuses on providing professional food and beverage services, coordinating hospitality arrangements, maintaining hygiene standards, and ensuring a courteous and welcoming environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve tea, coffee, snacks, and other refreshments during meetings, official functions, and VIP visits

• Coordinate and execute hospitality arrangements for VIPs and high-profile guests at official lunches and dinners

• Recommend and plan appropriate refreshment items based on departmental requirements and event nature

• Design menus for official luncheons, dinners, and special functions

• Ensure cleanliness, hygiene, and orderly maintenance of pantry areas, service equipment, and related facilities

• Create a courteous, welcoming, and professional atmosphere for all visitors and guests

• Liaise with internal departments and external service providers to ensure smooth and timely delivery of hospitality services

Qualifications

Educational / Professional Qualifications

• Certificate or Diploma in Hospitality, Food and Beverage Service, or a related field obtained from a reputed hotel school or similar institution

Experience

• Minimum of two (02) years of experience in hospitality or food and beverage service in reputed hotels or hospitality establishments

• Exposure to serving VIP or high-profile guests is preferred

• Knowledge of event catering and menu planning will be an added advantage

Skills & Other Requirements

• Good communication and active listening skills with a friendly and patient attitude

• Strong commitment to providing excellent service

• Ability to work collaboratively and maintain positive working relationships

• Willingness to work beyond normal working hours when required

• Ability to perform duties independently with minimal supervision

• Adequate knowledge of food and beverages, food safety, and hygiene practices

• Ability to maintain strict confidentiality, particularly when handling VIP guests and sensitive events

Age Limit

• Not less than 25 years and not more than 45 years as at 02 January 2026
